Service Description

This presentation leads participants in a series of presentations and workshops from a trauma-informed and racial equity lens, participants will gain the following skills: foundational knowledge of trauma definitions and types, trauma’s physical, emotional, and academic impact. The impact of racial, historical, and community trauma on students. The impact of trauma on the overall school environment. Classroom strategies to reduce the frequency of trauma reminders. Basic trauma-informed communication and de-escalation strategies. Educator self-regulation and self-care amid workplace trauma and stress.
