Developmental Trends: (K-8 grades)

Service Description

Attendees will gain knowledge of age-appropriate developmental patterns in physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development (K-8) and how these trends connect to daily programming. Participants will: - Recognize developmental trends across age groups (K-8); - Identify how developmental trends connect to age-group behavior. The physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development of children and adolescents varies with age. Age-related patterns are developmental trends. Also, keep in mind that developmental trends do not apply to all children and adolescents, especially those with mental and/or physical problems. By the end of this workshop, participants will: - Recognize age-related developmental tendencies (K-8). - Determine how developmental trends affect each age group's daily habits.
